All About Bradley Byrne

Welcome to our Web site. As you explore, we hope you notice the glaring difference between the real Bradley Byrne and the one you see in his slick advertising.

The real Bradley Byrne is too liberal for Alabama. He supported and even gave money to Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign. He voted to raise taxes by more than $1.2 billion, and he recently called the Bible only partly true, while previously stating that evolution was the “best explanation” for the origins of life.

Politician Bradley Byrne wants you to believe he supports tort reform. Yet, as a trial lawyer, the real Bradley Byrne made a living suing people; as a Republican state senator, he even introduced legislation to expand our product liability laws.

Politician Bradley Byrne wants you to believe he supports ethic reforms, but the real Bradley Byrne is the poster child for hypocrisy when it comes to this issue. Bradley Byrne was absent from work and should be held accountable for the PACT fund losing hundreds of millions of dollars, forcing us as taxpayers to pick up the tab!

All of this represents just the tip of the iceberg. We encourage you to browse through our Web site to learn the truth about the real Bradley Byrne. And please check back often to view even more revealing facts and some fun and interesting videos. To be continued...

Where does Bradley Byrne stand on the issues? What do his past actions say about his future decisions? Does he have the right vision for Alabama? Is Byrne being honest or is he just like a chameleon – changing his beliefs to blend with the group he's speaking to?

True Republican PAC Releases – Bradley Byrne: Like a Weathervane

True Republican PAC is pleased to announce the release of its third television commercial titled, “Weathervane.” It depicts Bradley Byrne as nothing more than a weathervane, always changing his position depending on how the political winds blow.

The ads describes the time when Bradley Byrne served on the state school board and defended evolution as theory that best explains the origins of life; and how recently Bradley Byrne said the Bible was only “partially true.” Now, of course, Mr. Byrne said he didn’t mean those things. (It sort of reminds you of John Kerry explaining how he voted for that thing before he opposed it!)

The ad also notes how Bradley Byrne supported more than $1.2 billion in tax increases, including an increase in the sales tax, the income tax, property tax and even taxes on health care premiums. At the time Byrne described these tax increases as “critically important,” and noted that “only ignorance” would prevent the passage of these measures in the public referendum that followed. [In Byrne’s estimation the public must be pretty “ignorant” because these measures were soundly defeated.]

Of course now Bradley Byrne says he won’t do it again.

There are so many Bradley Byrne flip flops (including being a Democrat and supporting Bill Clinton for president) that a two minute commercial is need to highlight the really big ones. So stay tuned for more as we continue to highlight the real Bradley Byrne. More…
